Sanita UK Ltd. is committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking and is completely opposed to all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking throughout our supply chain.
We are a distributor of packaging and raw materials in the plastics and paper sector. We are a part of the Indevco Flexible Packaging Division, and our ultimate parent company is INDEVCO Group.
Headquartered in Lebanon, Indevco Group employs over 9900 people in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the US.
Our supply chain includes importing and exporting packaging, plastics raw material, and paper from our group factories and partners in the Middle East and the US.
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
We have zero-tolerance to slavery and human trafficking throughout our supply chain. Our upstream procurement is restricted to affiliated group companies who comply to INDEVCO Group corporate policy, or to partner companies who we visit and audit. We aim to ensure that they comply with our ethical and social standards.
We are working closely with a dedicated compliance team as part of our group Process Improvement Department (PID), based in the company HQ in Lebanon, and which has involvement with the group’s Legal, Audit and Compliance, Human Resource, and Central Procurement departments.
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we aim to provide training to our staff within the course of the following year.
